Terms of Service

01Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using Privacy Checkup (the "Service"), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

02What the Service does

The Service reads your connected Google or Microsoft account to find files shared too widely, security-related emails, and whether your email address appears in known data leaks. It then shows you what it found and suggests how to fix it.

The Service only reads. It never changes, deletes, or shares anything in your accounts. Any fix is made by you, in your own account.

03Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old, and you may only connect accounts that belong to you, or that you are authorised to manage.

04Using it properly

You agree not to:

• connect or check an account or email address that isn't yours;
• use the Service to monitor, track, or harm anyone else;
• try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service;
• resell the Service or its results without our written permission.

05What we can't promise

We check a defined set of things. An "all clear" result means we didn't find a problem in what we checked. It does not mean your accounts or devices are completely safe. We can't see leaks that aren't public yet, accounts you haven't connected, or your phone or computer itself.

The Service gives general guidance, not professional security, legal, or financial advice.

06Free and Pro plans

The Free plan lets you run a full check by hand. The Pro plan adds automatic checks, instant alerts, more connected accounts, and saved history. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include GST where it applies.

• Billing: Pro renews automatically each month or year until you cancel.
• Cancelling: you can cancel any time from the Account page. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Refunds: if you cancel within 7 days of your first payment, we'll refund you in full.

07Other companies' services

The Service works with Google, Microsoft, and a leak-check provider. Their own terms apply to your use of their services. We aren't responsible for changes they make that affect what we can check.

08Our content

The Service, its design, and its text belong to us. Your data stays yours. We only use it as described in our Privacy Policy.

09Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for problems the Service didn't detect. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. When an account is closed, we delete its data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in [city, to be decided] will have jurisdiction.
